UND faculty created the materials in this AI Assignment Library in the context of ChatGPT and other generative AI’s immediate impact on higher education. Faculty who submitted their assignments did an intensive workshop on generative AI and the information landscape which informed their assignment design. Then faculty colleagues peer-reviewed each other’s work in an assignment charrette. Assignment authors revised their assignment informed by that feedback. Users are invited to search the assignment library for ideas using disciplines, course level, or student learning outcomes. All assignments are designed to advance student learning in the context of the new information environment created by generative AI.
