UND ART COLLECTIONS MISSION
UND Art Collections advances teaching, research, public engagement, and interdisciplinary discovery through the stewardship, interpretation, and activation of the University's art, cultural heritage collections, and creative resources. Through collections care, exhibitions, public art, digital initiatives, experiential learning opportunities, and strategic partnerships, UND Art Collections enriches learning, fosters innovation, and strengthens the cultural and intellectual life of the University of North Dakota.
UND Art Collections stewards more than 30,000 artworks, cultural objects, archival materials, and related resources, including approximately 1,500 works on view across campus through the Living Art Museum program.
Please note that while this category is set to filter in the entire collection, several collections and objects have not yet been uploaded or set up to filter in, so this may not be a true representation of the collections and its contents change daily. We recommend viewing works by category.
To provide supplementary information for any of the works listed, please contact sarah.m.heitkamp@und.edu.
Financial support for acquisition, preservation, and presentation of the artworks in UND Art Collections is provided in part by the Myers Foundations and supported by the UND AC Endowment for Preservation and Education.
