Abstract
Judge James Gion was formally installed as a judge of the Southwest Judicial District in an investiture ceremony on January 6, 2016 at the Hettinger County Courthouse in Mott. He was appointed by Govenor Jack Dalrymple to replace retiring Judge Zane Anderson in the SWJD. Judge Gion is a 1982 graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law.
