Abstract

Oral history interview with Don Loeslie from Warren, Minnesota, conducted on December 15, 2025. The interview was led by Curt Hanson of the Elwyn B. Robinson Department of Special Collections at the Chester Fritz Library, University of North Dakota. Don Loeslie is a lifelong farmer who has been actively involved in and has led several national agricultural organizations, including the National Association of Wheat Growers.   In this third and final interview, he discusses the important role his wife, Glorianne, played in the organizations he was involved with. Loeslie shares a story about meeting Pope John Paul II and recounts his experiences serving as a trade envoy to the Soviet Union during the Ronald Reagan administration.   The interview lasts 1 hour and 54 minutes.
