Abstract
Oral history interview with Carman Rhoades of the U.S. Army Air Force during the Second World War. Rhoades was shot down over Germany and was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 1, near Barth, Germany. The camp was liberated by the Russian army in early May 1945.
Carman F. Rhoades was born in Nebraska on 15 November 1918 and died in Colorado on 4 September 2010.
