Abstract
Oral history interview with Captain Rolland T. Olson of the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Second World War. Olson was shot down over Italy in 1944 and was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 1, near Barth, Germany. He was liberated by Russian forces in early May 1945.
Rolland T. Olson was born in Zumbrota, Minnesota, on 11 February 1916 and died in Chicago on 12 January 2013.
