Abstract
Oral history interview with John Curran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Second World War. Curran was shot down over Germany on 29 August 1944 and was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 4 in present day Poland. He was liberated by the American Army in April after a forced march of several weeks. Following his liberation he caught malaria.
John J. Curran was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on 19 June 1924 and died in Minto, North Dakota, on 2 June 2007.
