Abstract
Oral history interview with Bob W. Siltamaki of the 8th Air Force, 359th Fighter Group, U.S. Army Air Force, during the Second World War. Siltamaki was captured by the German Luftwaffe near Leeder, Germany in 1944 and was imprisoned in Stalag Luft I POW camp near Barth, Germany. Siltamaki was liberated by Soviet troops in May 1945. Bob Siltamaki was born on 9 November 1920 in Hanna, Wyoming, and died on 2 September 2006.
