Abstract
Oral history interview with Walter Enget of the 104th Infantry (Timberwolf Division) of the U.S. Army during the Second World War. Enget was captured by the German Army on Thanksgiving Day, 23 November 1944. He was sent to Neustrelitz, Germany, where he was forced to work in a warehouse unloading railroad cars. The Russian Army liberated Enget near the end of the war.
Walter Enget was born in Burke County, North Dakota, on 17 August 1922. He died on 4 February 2001 in Minot.
