Abstract

Oral history interview with Arthur Linrud of the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Second World War. Linrud was shot down on 14 October 1943 and was captured by the German Army. He was a prisoner of war at Stalag Luft 17b in Krems, Austria. He was liberated by the U.S. Army on 3 May 1945.

Arthur E. Linrud was born on 23 November 1920 and died on 1 September 2012. He is buried in Minot, North Dakota.
