Artist Bio
Tamara Thompson was an American artist who was born in 1935 in Anderson, Indiana. Thompson studied at the University of Kentucky were she obtained her BFA and went on to get her MFA at Indiana University. She is best known for her career as an art teacher at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Connecticut, and teaching studio arts at Colgate University and the University of Kentucky.
