Artist Bio
Gloria Thomas is an American artist who was born in 1945 in Covington, Kentucky and in currently based out of Lexington, Kentucky. Thomas studied at Indiana University, for her B.F.A. in 1968, and at Queens College of the City University of New York, from 1968 to 1970. Her work typically revolves around Catholicism, saints and the church. Works by Gloria Thomas can be found in the public collections of several churches in Kentucky and Alabama, as well as a few in Illinois, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
