Artist Bio

Victor Burgin was born in 1941 and is currently based out of Gascony and Paris. Burgin studied at the School of Painting at the Royal College of Art in London from 1962 to 1965 and later on went to study at Yale University where he obtained his MFA in 1967. He is best known for his writing and photographic sequences which are political in nature and are often included in his artists' books. His work is said to be influenced by famous philosophers and political theorists.
