Roberta Allen was born in 1945 and is currently based in New York. She is best known for her short stories, photography, and witty artists' books that often play with photographs and blank space. Roberta Allen has work in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Modern Museum of Art, the Yale University Collection and several other collections.
