Abstract
Action research is not a problem solving approach only, but also a systemic process of improving the present situation through maintaining its philosophy. This case study was conducted in 2010 at the Engineering University School, Bangladesh. The study was stimulated by the need to manage a conflict situation prevailing between boys and girls at grade seven in that school. An action research undertaken to address such specific situation shows how a teacher can be benefited personally and professionally through an action research.
