Tereré: A Traditional Drink people often carry a container filled with ice-cold water and herbs, along with a glass holding a blend of Yerba mate. The Guaraní people originally developed this drink for social interactions. Due to the hot climate, it remains incredibly refreshing and is enjoyed throughout the day. People use leather holders because they protect and transport the guampa and bombilla while traveling. However, it is preferable to use thermoses or coolers because they are essential for maintaining cold water at an ideal temperature, particularly during Paraguay’s intense heat.
