This initiative is a part of an annual storytelling showcase of new Americans that highlights their journeys toward naturalization. Through photo and video exhibitions, the project aims to foster a deeper understanding of the diverse paths' individuals take to become citizens and establish their lives in North Dakota. By documenting these personal histories, the showcase serves as a living archive of resilience, culture, and heritage, bridging the gap between established communities and those newly joining the fabric of our nation. In the first year of the project, we recorded and captured stories of 15 participants from 14 different countries.
