Description
This letter, dated January 13, 1956, from United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick to Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross says that Burdick will vote as Cross has requested. Burdick is likely referring to Cross's January 13, 1956 telegram in which he requests that Burdick vote favorably on US Senate Bill 51, amending US Public Law 280.
