Artist Bio
Dick Higgins was born in 1938 in Cambridge. Higgins was educated at several New England boarding schools and even attended Yale University, graduating with bachelor's degree in English. A co-founder of the Fluxus movement, he is also well known for his contributions to happenings and concrete poetry. Higgins has work in the permanent collections of the Modern Museum of Art and several other publications.

Small black and white photograph of a weathered stone wall and door, in small white text the postcards states, "snowflake; on turning forty by dick higgins raging on ahead time raging on ahead of time time time of time's raging ahead' this phrase is repeated strategically in poem form. At the bottom right of the postcard the poem is dated January 2, 1978 in New York.
