Melodie Alt is a native of Grafton, North Dakota. She began her artist practice at a young age. Alt often uses exaggerated, unexpected hues in her artwork and unconventional mediums like glitter that allow the viewer to see familiar creatures in her subjects in a new and imaginative manner.
