Artist Bio
Patricia Bellan-Gillen obtained her BS in Art Education in 1973 and her BFA in Printmaking in 1975, both from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. In 1979, she earned her MFA from Carnegie Mellon. Bellan-Gillen worked as a professor in the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University for 29 years, then retired and received the Ryan Award for Meritorious Teaching. Her main art forms are printmaking, painting, and drawing.
