Abstract

Evidentiary document NO 3097, "Memo on results of a census of inmates of the Baltic-German refugee camps, signed by SS Gruf. Greifelt," from the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials. The document dates from 22 September 1941. The inmates were divided into three groups:

1. to be "put to work immediately"

2. "returned to their native countries in agreement with the state-police"

3. those who are "politically implicated or suspect or a-social" are to to transferred to concentration camps
