State superstars of science and engineering will vie for honors at UND

Abstract

The next generation of North Dakota scientists and engineers will compete in the 65th Annual North Dakota State Science and Engineering Fair (ND SSEF) on March 26-27, 2015, in the Wellness Center at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

Students arrive on campus Thursday, March 26. Thursday’s events begin with Hands –On activities on campus in Aerospace, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Engineering, Math, Medicine, Nursing, Physics, Teaching and Learning. The competition begins Friday at 8 a.m.

Students will compete in either the junior or senior division. First-place winners in the senior division will compete in the International Science and Engineering Fair in May in Pittsburgh. National, regional and state organizations will recognize the efforts of the students with awards and scholarships.

The exhibits will be open to the public from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27, UND Wellness Center.
