Abstract
Judge Lawrence Jahnke of the Northeast Central Judicial District has announced that he will retire March 15. He was appointed a district judge in May 1989 and won election in 1990, 1996, 2002, 2008 and 2014.
Jahnke entered private legal practice in Grand Forks in 1986 after a 20-year career as a judge advocate in the United States Air Force.
He graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1966.
