CNPD Announces Leadership & Development Changes

Abstract
The College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) has hired a new Director of its Ph.D. program, Dr. Tracy Evanson. Dr. Evanson will continue her role as the Director of the Advanced Public Health Nurse program in addition to the Ph.D. program. Dr. Evanson is an Associate Professor within the Department of Nursing, having served on the faculty since 2003.
Dr. Maridee Shogren has been selected as the next Chair of the Graduate Nursing Department. Dr. Shogren will continue in her role as the Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in addition to becoming Chair. Dr. Shogren is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Nursing, and has been on the CNPD's faculty since 2008.
Jana Zwilling has been selected as the new Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. Professor Zwilling has been an FNP faculty member for over three years, teaching clinical practicum courses as well as Advanced Health Assessment. She has also had experience as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Air Force, holding the rank of Captain.
Sigrid Letcher, the Senior Director of Sales and Prospecting for the UND Foundation, will be serving as our College's Director of Development in an interim capacity. Sigrid brings six years of experience from the Foundation. She will be focusing her efforts on our College's strategic priorities and continuing to build upon relationships with our loyal and generous alumni and friends.
