Abstract
The University of North Dakota College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) will sponsor "Think F.A.S.T. , Run Faster" -- a 5 K walk/run and Health Fair Promoting Stroke Awareness – set for 1 p.m., Sunday, May 4, at the UND Wellness Center. All proceeds from the $15 registration will be donated to the Altru Health Foundation Stroke Program in honor of May being Stroke Awareness Month.
The walk/run will begin at 1:30 p.m.
The following is what F.A.S.T. stands for:

A. Arms: Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
S. Speech: Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Is their speech slurred or strange?
T. Time: If you observe any of these signs, call 9-1-1 immediately.
This event is sponsored by CNPD's student organizations and the UND Deans for Wellness initiative.
