Abstract

The University of North Dakota Department of Music is proud to announce a double-bill performance of operas, Doctor Miracle and Trial By Jury, at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29, in the Josephine Campbell Recital Hall in the Hughes Fine Arts Building on the UND campus. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Admission is available at the door only. $6 for adults, $3 for students and seniors or $12 for family passes (2 Adults and 2 Students).

The UND Department of Music has been delighting the Grand Cities area with hundreds of performances a year. They invite their guests to sit back, relax and laugh as stories are told about the frenzy and foibles of young love...

Doctor Miracle , composed by Georges Bizet (Carmen), has been transported to the Married with Children universe. The student cast includes Ryan King, Kaylee Lackman, Ryan Olien and Jacy Thibert. Dr. Royce Blackburn directs this production with David Henrickson at the piano.

Broken promises are expensive in Trial by Jury created by the British duo of Gilbert and Sullivan. Featured principals in the student cast are Sara Otteman Bray, Jace Erickson, Christian Feldmann and Lynneah Thompson. Dr. Wesley Lawrence directs this production with Farren Rowan at the piano.
