Abstract

Third-year UND Law student Jarrod Steele has been awarded a $5000 scholarship from the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. Steele was among 24 scholarship recipients from 27 RMMLF Constituent Law Schools.

Jarrod SteeleThe Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation has two Scholarship Programs consisting of the Joe Rudd Scholarships, established in 1980 in honor of a prominent natural resources attorney in Alaska, and the RMMLF Scholarships,established in 1993. The number of scholarships awarded thus far is 354, totaling almost $1.7 million. Applicants are evaluated by their demonstrated commitment to the study of natural resources law, academic ability, leadership ability, and year in law school.

In addition to the financial award, Steele will have the opportunity to attend the 59th Annual RMMLF Institute in Spokane, Washington.
