UND piano program to hold ‘Chopin’ recital

Abstract

The University of North Dakota piano program will present a piano studio recital titled "All 26 Preludes by Frederic Chopin," at 4 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 4, in the Hughes Fine Arts Center Josephine Campbell Recital Hall.

UND piano students will perform pieces by the great Frédéric François Chopin. The 24 Preludes (Op.28), Prelude Op. 45 in C-sharp Minor, and the posthumous Prelude Op. 26 in A-flat Major will be featured in the recital.

Chopin was a Polish composer and is considered one of the great masters of Romantic music.

The event is free and open to the public.
