North Dakota Supreme Court Welcomes UND Law Alumni as New Law Clerks

Abstract

The Supreme Court is pleased to announce the following recent law school graduates have been begun a one-year clerkship with the Court August 1, 2012.

Joel Edgar Engel III of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, received a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in History from the University of North Dakota. Mr. Engel received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2012. He is married to Amanda Engel of Clark, South Dakota, and is the son of Joel and Jolene Engel of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Lindsay M. Harris of Bismarck, North Dakota, received a B.S. in Statistics with a minor in Mathematics from the North Dakota State University. Ms. Harris received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2012. She is the daughter of Scott and Bonnie Harris of Bismarck, North Dakota.

Nathan R. Martindale of Fargo, North Dakota, received a B.B.A. in Business Management from the University of North Dakota. Mr. Martindale received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2012. He is the son of Dr. Don and Lori Martindale of Fargo, North Dakota.

Seth A. Thompson of Lignite, North Dakota, received a B.S. in Operations Management from the Minnesota State University-Moorhead and an M.S. in Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Mary. Mr. Thompson received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law in May 2012. He is married to Anna Thompson, and they will be making their home in Bismarck.

Jonathan Voigt of Burlington, North Dakota, received a B.A. in English from the University of North Dakota. Mr. Voigt received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2012. He is married to Amanda Voigt of Fargo, North Dakota, and is the son of Orin and Carmen Voigt of Burlington, North Dakota.
