Abstract
The UND Department of Music is introducing a new holiday event on December 2-3, 2011. This musical gala called Winter Wunderland will replace the annual Madrigal Dinner.
Winter Wunderland will feature more than 200 of UND's finest musicians. They will perform popular holiday songs, classic carols and everything in between while guests enjoy a five-course dinner.
Performers include the UND Concert Choir, Varsity Bards, Allegro Women's Choir, Varsity Gentlemen, Chamber Choir, Trumpet Ensemble and the Faculty Brass Trio. Also featured will be a favorite local band, Jazz on Tap with special guest Matt Strand performing highlights from Vince Guaraldi's classic holiday album, "A Charlie Brown Christmas."
Tickets are on sale now, $40 for dinner and the concert. Student tickets are $20 with a valid UND student ID. Tables of eight will be sold for $298.
