Abstract
Econ. Professor’s blog ranked in the top 100 for the second consecutive year.
He’s done it again—Dr. David Flynn, chair of the Department of Economics and Finance has been named one of the top economic bloggers in 2017 by intelligenteconomist.com for the second consecutive year.
Criteria for the blogs included quality and consistency of posts. According to the website, “the blogs are not ranked in any particular order because the publicly available data about these blogs like social media presence or search ranking are vanity metrics and don’t reflect the hard work the author put into his/her blog.”
I think the fact that I deal with North Dakota and North Dakota issues through the oil cycle has made it an interesting read to many," said Dr. Flynn.
Dr. Flynn’s blog BARTER IS EVIL is designed to engage ideas about economics, economic history and statistics. Intelligenteconomist.com commends Dr. Flynn for the emphasis his blog puts on the North Dakota economy, which provides readers insight on the impact of the oil industry boom in the state.
