Abstract
The University of North Dakota John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences (UND Aerospace) continues its ongoing relationship with the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) with an aircraft accident investigation course that starts Tuesday, Sept. 27, and runs through Thursday, Sept. 29.
Because the field phase of an aircraft accident investigation can be confusing, chaotic and labor intensive, this “hands-on” course using an actual aircraft provides participants experience analyzing and documenting a re-created aircraft accident. Approximately 25 attendees from various airlines, Grand Forks airport personnel as well as individuals from UND Aerospace will participated in the two-plus-day course.
