Indigent Counsel Commission Welcomes Travis Finck, '07, as Deputy Director

Abstract
The N.D. Commission on Legal Counsel for Indigents has a new Deputy Director, Travis Finck. Finck is a lifelong North Dakotan. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and his Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of North Dakota.
Finck brings a wealth of criminal law and state government experience to the position. He has spent his entire legal career in criminal defense, most recently serving as the Supervising Attorney for the Bismarck-Mandan Public Defender Office.
Finck has been an active participant within the bar association, serving as a member of Inquiry Committee - West and serving on the Guardian Ad Litem review board.
Finck has volunteered his time in the community of Bismarck: serving as a member of his Parent Teacher Organization; working with Boy Scouts; and working with the Bismarck School Board facilities planning team. He enjoys the outdoors with his family and friends, spending his time hunting and fishing in the great State of North Dakota.
Finck is excited to continue working in his new position with the North Dakota Commission on Legal Counsel for Indigents.
