Abstract
UND College of Business and Public Administration faculty Dr. Prodosh Simlai and Dr. Wei Yang have been awarded a $7,000 match to their college-awarded summer research grant due to the generosity of UND CoBPA Alumnus, Paul Korus.
Korus is passionate about economics research and provided matching support for the top two economics research proposals, awarding faculty an additional $7,000 each toward their research projects.
The committee charged with reviewing proposals, rated Simlai and Yang’s highest among all economics-related proposals. Simlai’s proposed project is titled, “Innovations in state variables, stock return predictability, and cross-section of expected returns." Yan’s proposed project is titled, "How do marriage market sex ratios affect formation and Dissolution of marriages?”
