Abstract
Judge Anthony Swain Benson was formally installed as a judge of the Northeast Judicial District in an investiture ceremony on January 15, 2016 at the Bottineau County Courthouse. He was appointed by Governor Jack Dalrymple to replace retiring Judge Michael Sturdevant in the Northeast Judicial District. Judge Benson is a 2000 graduate of the UND School of Law.
