Abstract
Ryan A. Heintz has been named Assistant Disciplinary Counsel. He started with the Office of Disciplinary Counsel Dec. 1.
Heintz will work under the direction of Kara J. Johnson, who is Disciplinary Counsel for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court and Judicial Conduct Commission.
A native of Chaseley, North Dakota, Heintz received his B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice from North Dakota State University in 2008, and his J.D., with distinction, in 2011, from the University of North Dakota School of Law.
Before joining Disciplinary Counsel’s office, Heintz was a solo practitioner since 2012, focusing on criminal defense.
Heintz enjoys hunting, fishing, a myriad of sports, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
