Abstract
2015 UND Law graduate Lane Thompson's article Solving a Paradox of Indian Gaming: Cultural Solutions to Problem Gambling in Native American Communities was published in the Gaming Law Review and Economics journal.
Mr. Thompson's article serves to augment and better focus the usual cost-benefit analysis of socio-economic and psychological impacts of gaming on Native Americans. His first-hand experience as a Native American speaks to the cultural factors and stereotypes described in the article.
