Abstract

This presentation will provide an introduction to the assessment and treatment of depression. It will include general information about depression and associated diagnoses, common signs and symptoms across the lifespan, and tools to help providers with assessment and risk management. The presentation will also outline current treatment options for depression, including review of brief interventions and skills that can be taught to patients.
