Description
Cartoon depicts the scales of justice weighing "1 man = 1 vote" against "1965 No. Dak Reapportionment Law." The 1965 Legislature passed a reapportionment law that is being challenged in a lawsuit. The new law enlarges the Senate from 49 to 53 seats and reduces the House from 109 to 106 members. But a group called "The Committee for Fair Reapportionment" has attacked the new plan maintaining it is unconstitutional.
