Description
This undated letter, from Marie R. Comments
Although this document is undated, it can be surmised that the letter is from around 1949 because Senator Langer sent a letter responding to Deane on August 5, 1949 (see "Letter from Senator Langer to Marie R Deane Regarding the Acquisition of Tribal Lands, August 5, 1949"). It is not clear that this letter is the same one that Langer was responding to at that time; however, as this letter mentions the Tribal Council at Elbowoods, it must predate the town's flooding in 1954.
