Description

This letter dated August 5, 1949, from United States (US) Senator William Langer to attorney Ralph H. Case, states Langer has enclosed a portion of a letter from Marie R. Deane of Elbowoods, North Dakota regarding a proposed contract to cover payment for tribal lands of The Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation related to the Garrison Dam. A handwritten note at the top of the letter reads "Indians"
