Description
This letter, dated November 3, 1953, from United States (US) Senator William Langer to Major Roy A. Sanders, District Engineer, Garrison District, US Army Corps of Engineers, refers to an enclosed letter Langer has received from Stark County, North Dakota (ND) Auditor Paul F. Fischer concerning the replacement of the bridge on ND State Highway No. 8 crossing the Missouri River at Elbowoods, on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
Langer writes that he would appreciate a report on the situation, particularly on whether or not "this crossing is contemplated in the future." He asks that Sanders return Fischer's letter with his reply.
