Cody Marks received his BA in Multi-Media Art from Northern State University in Aberbeen, South Dakota). While attending NSU, he also spent a year studying abroad in South Korea at Korea University and Pukyung National University. Marks then pursued graduate study and received his MFA in Visual Arts from the University of North Dakota. His work utilizes geometric forms that he says are influenced by graffiti, “Sci-Fi” and Native-American abstract forms that stem from his ancestral heritage.
