Stephanie Lynn Brueggemann—nee Molden received her BFA in visual arts with an emphasis in printmaking and also completed requirements for licensure in Teacher Education at the University of North Dakota in 1993.

The subject of the expressively bright and unnaturally colored monotype on display appears to relate to the art student being raised on a dairy farm in Minnesota. The monotype process that was used to make the print often yields just a single impression that resembles a painting.
