Artist Bio
Born in Ondo, Nigeria, Yisa Akinbolaji has resided in Winnipeg, Canada, since 1997. Before immigrating to Canada, he was well-known as an artist in Nigeria. In 2009, Akinbolaji received an MFA in Visual Arts from the University of North Dakota.

Akinbolaji's The Hope Within reminds us of the mosaic of life. People come in different shapes, sizes, and colors and have different needs and desires. In the field of Public Health, we must see each as a whole person and keep our obligations to them.
