Additional Information
William Rerick received his BFA in visual arts from UND in 2016. His painting, The Kiss, continues a theme that has intrigued many artists of the past, including Auguste Rodin, Gustave Klimt, Constantin Brancusi, and Edvard Munch among others. Rerick’s version of the subject explores the intersection of attraction and repulsion. When exhibited in a college of medicine, it may also evoke thoughts about spreading germs through acts of intimacy.
