Abstract
Oral history interview with Clinton Sather of the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Second World War. Sather was shot down over Germany on 5 February 1944 and was captured by the German Army. He was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 4 and Stalag Luft 1, from where he was liberated by the Russian army in late April 1945.
Clinton A. Sather was born near Ulen, Minnesota, on 12 November 1920. He died on 28 January 2006 in Moorhead, Minnesota, and is buried in Fargo.
