Abstract
Oral history interview with Henry Strunc of the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Second World War. Strunc was shot down over Germany in October 1944 and was captured by the German Army. He was imprisoned at Stalag Luft I near Barth, Germany. He was liberated by the Russian Army in April 1945.
Henry J. Strunc was born in Bee, Nebraska, on 17 May 1923. He died on 7 September 2004 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and is buried at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
