Abstract
Oral history interview with Leonard O. Clarke of the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Second World War. Clarke was shot down over Germany in 1944 and was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 1, near Barth, Germany. The camp was liberated by the Russian army in early May 1945.
Leonard O. Clarke was born in Eureka, California on 29 March 1919 and died on 16 May 2009.
